Geography

The aim of the school's geography progamme is to help pupils to make sense of their surroundings and the wider world, by developing their geographical knowledge and understanding of places, the human and physical processes which shape them and the people who live in them.

Pupils, following the national curriculum, will engage in a series of geography led topics.  Through these topics they will develop their understanding of local place settlements and how these compare with other places.  Pupils will also improve their inderstanding of coasts and rivers as well as developing valuable field work skills.
