Our Church

Bitterne CE Primary school has had a very long relationship with Holy Saviour Church and where possible we work in partnership to offer support and care to the whole school community - staff, children & their families. Particular highlights in our school year are the services that we hold at Holy Saviour at key times in the year - Christmas, Easter, Harvest & in celebrating our year 6 leavers as they end their time at Bitterne CE Primary.

Rev Tony and Ruth Palmer lead the church together and both play an active role in supporting the school in a variety of ways, alongside the Youth & Children's Minister Sadoc Chongo. This includes regularly coming in to school to lead Collective Worship, support RE classes, help to support school trips and offer mental health and well-being support to pupils.
