Pupil Premium

The pupil premium is allocated to schools based on the number of children known to be eligible for ‘Free School Meals’ ( FSM). For 2012-2013 this was widened to include not only children currently eligible for FSM but any child who has been eligible for FSM within the last 6 years.

It is really important to the school that every child eligible for ‘ Free School Meals’  is registered with the school. To be eligible, the family must be in receipt of certain benefits. If you think you might be entitled and are not currently claiming, please contact our school office.

The pupil premium is also allocated for children who have been looked after continuously for 6 months and children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces.
