KS2 Leader

Required from September 2023.

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and highly effective leader to join our successful team from September 2023.  The successful candidate will be creative and forward thinking with a talent for effective practice and improving the practice of others The post provides an excellent opportunity for leadership development to become our KS2 Leader with possible further TLR enhancement to lead maths across the primary school. The successful candidate will be a full member of the school leadership team supporting the strategic and operational running of our 8 KS2 classes.

We are looking for a talented and inspirational teacher, an aspiring leader and an empathetic communicator with significant experience of working in KS2 who will:

  • Have a passion for learning and be able to demonstrate the highest standards of teaching;
  • Be able to develop our creative curriculum to enthuse children and encourages independence;
  • Have a dynamic leadership style and can already evidence the impact of their successful leadership or can demonstrate the qualities to become a successful leader.
  • Be able to lead and motivate colleagues to achieve the highest standards of teaching and learning and hold them to account for progress and attainment;
  • Be experienced in coaching colleagues and can demonstrate the impact of coaching on the quality of teaching;
  • Have the ability to think strategically and to lead initiatives effectively and monitor and evaluate the impact of actions taken;
  • Be an excellent communicator with all;
  • Be extremely well organised – yet with a flexible approach;
  • Have a desire to make a difference every day to the children and adults across the school.

Salary Scale: The indicative pay salary is set at Mainscale £33850 (M4) - £38,810 (M6) or £40,625 (UPS1) - £43,685 (UPS3) and a TLR 2.4-2.10, depending on experience.
