At Bitterne CE Primary School, we invite year 6 pupils to support other pupils across the school, during lunchtimes and playtimes.  The Peer Mediators are trained by the lunchtime and behaviour leaders to initiate play and use restorative practice techniques to help solve disagreements.  The Peer Mediators are role models to their peers and younger children in school, and enjoy the responsibility of caring for others.
